We're now entering, in POTUS's own words, the "kick ass" phase of the Ne'er Say Terror Again Era— the DOW is down, government employment is up, private sector jobs continue to disappear, taxes are scheduled to rise when the Bush cuts expire in 2011 and the treasury looks to the Chinese for a 5th, 6th? mortgage to cover Obamascare, Stimupork, and all the other "progressive" reforms. But, rest assured, all that's being fine-tuned to avoid a double-dip recession. The right's right to call this Marxist, but Karl? No, this is Zeppo, Harpo and Groucho with a dash of McCartney. Hoops, anyone?

This is a dimension of flimsy obfuscation and of Jones Act and EPA waivers long delayed. Beyond it are other dementia— the distraction of hoops and bogeys, a declining dollar and an ever-dizzy Dow, plus dimwitted vicissitudes from McCartney and Calderon.
You've moving into a dimension of both denial and delay, of ideas ignored and logical things undone. You have seen the signpost up ahead— it reads, "It took a spillage"— and you're just crossing over into . . . the Obama Zone.

I don't, of course, know the exact circumstances that will propel HRC to challenge Barack (? I forget: is it okay to use his middle-name right now?) Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2012, but we all know that's on the horizon. Historians of the future will be looking back at the Ne'er Say Islamo-Terror Era and digging deep for the real reasons why she decided to leave the State Dept and toss her bonnet into the ring.

Unless the Republicans decide to go with a DOLE-QUAYLE ticket, they should win in 2012, while the Democrats still will be bogged down over whether to pass a 7th stimulus package, ecstatic as well as apoplectic about Mr. Obama's Peace through Apology Foreign Policy, and still arguing over AG Eric Holder's failure to order the sedition act arrest of Tea Party leaders on sight. Monica Lewinsky's disbarred ex-boyfriend (aka Bubba Luca Brazi, above) should be in the thick of things, and since he should still be married to the former New York Senator he will be a big anchor pulling her candidacy into the salty brine below Obamaspill.
